Angelo Barbieri came from a competitor in 1963. He started with one machine and developed the company to grow up.

His son Alberto Barbieri started his business in the company in 1999 and now he is the manager in charge of BARBIERI RUBBER.
 
 
Alberto is educated as Dipl. Ing. in electronic (focus product development LED) and he has a strong background as technical director in managing robotic systems for over 6 years. Very good experiences in international business.  
 
 
The first article designed by Barbieri Rubber is the “leaf guard shield "in 1978.
 
 
Used in agriculture sprayers, replaces the similar plate made, by combining cheapness, security and easiness of assembly.
 
 
 
In 1989 the 1st warehouse is built, where the whole company moves, leaving the now old, but historical location of Pestalozzi Street.
 
 
In 1994 Barbieri Rubber introduces the process of injection production by purchasing from the MIR the 1st automatic injection press with 135 TON.
 
In 1995 the trading company Elite Rubber is founded, headed by Mario Neri, who introduces in few years the production of sold articles and specializes in shock absorbers, O-rings, seals and above all balls. Not just in rubber, but in different materials such as silicone, FKM, Viton®, neoprene and natural rubber (Para).

Elite rubber starts to exhibit their products at fairs and reaches good results just in 4 years at Agricultural Machinery exhibition “EIMA” in Bologna (Italy).
 
 
In the 2000 the company starts to think abroad and to exhibit at the Hannover Messe (D) where is still present every year, in 2009 the company will be also present at the AGRITECHNICA in Hannover as well.
 
 
Following historical customers requests, in the field of heavy transport, the company patented a new rear buffer.
It’s entirely made inside the company, using co-moulding technology; the rear buffer is elegant, strong and quick-assembly.
 
Therefore it finds a great market in the most demanding niches of this field.
 
 
The continuous growth of the company and the associated Elite rubber, present in the same building, pushes to build in 2000 a second warehouse, followed soon by a third one, all neighbouring.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
It develops a pole of covered 4.000m2, composed of various equipment and services with a fluent logistics and several economies of scale.
 
 
                                                                                                                              
 
The continuous contact with the market during the fairs and the experience of Elite rubber bring the company to design and patent a new article: the modular bellows
 
                                                             
 
The possibility to adapt perfectly the rubber bellows to any size and the prompt delivery excite the market, which drives the company to realize new solutions and more additional dimensions, either modular or standard.

Barbieri Rubber reaches the European leadership in the field of rubber protection bellows.
 
 
 
 
 
In 2008, with the cooperation of the Austrian presses manufacturer “Engel”, introduces the latest generation in production of rubber articles: the multi-injection (put the link to the news)
Today the company has 35 presses with different processes and technologies: compression, vacuum compression, transfer, semi injection, injection with open mould, injection, vacuum, multi-injection.
